Bollnäs Hospital - Nurse for Orthopedic Department 3

Bollnäs Hospital is a small and pleasant unit where collaboration between different operations is the key to success. In orthopedic department 3, we work in a close-knit and well-functioning team that takes care of patients in need of inpatient care before and after planned surgeries in orthopedics, surgery, and urology.

Our work environment is characterized by camaraderie and good cooperation where we help each other and have clear, planned routines that create security in the work. The department has 18 beds and is open around the clock Monday to Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome you who have a strong focus on quality and patient safety. You work from a person-centered perspective to ensure that patients are well-informed, involved in their care, and able to make decisions about their own health and treatment/rehabilitation. Day, evening, and night shifts are included. The position includes work every 4th weekend in the medical department.

As a nurse with us, you will primarily work with:

• pre- and post-operative care
• nursing responsibility
• wound dressings
• rounds
• contact with doctors, operators, physiotherapists
• documentation in Lifecare.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an engaged nurse who enjoys working closely with colleagues and other professionals, and who meets patients and relatives in a professional and empathetic manner. You plan and structure your work in an efficient and organized way. With a problem-solving approach, you handle everyday challenges in a secure and independent manner.

In the role of nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse

For this position, it is an advantage if you have experience working in orthopedics.
